for the price you can’t beat it. i love the little light in side. i put whole pizza’s in it. the air fan is soft running and the cooking time is faster and food is cooked to the center more even. my first convection oven and i love it. simple and easy. when the timer goes off the oven shuts off, nice. i baked a bunt cake in it and it was gooood. can’t say enough, thank you Amazon.com, and thank you Oster.

Works Great – B. Payne –
Works great does a good job, if you can find decent pans to fit. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit noisy and not as big compared to the old Toastmaster. I think the Salton Company bought them out and changed to a smaller version and you can’t find them anymore. But this Oster is the largest convection toaster/oven I could find on Amazon at a decent price.

The timer mechanism on this toaster oven only works sometimes and turning on the timer is the only way to turn on the toaster. This means if you are not standing right in front of it to stop it when your toast is ready, it will continue to toast your bread into a piece of black charcoal. I only had the misfortune of forgetting about my toast long enough for it to start flaming one time, but I’ve severely blackened many pieces. I have a hard time thinking it’s just me since I’ve successfully used many toaster ovens in my life. This timer mechanism is the worst. I’m surprised nobody else has complained about this horrible feature.

Cord design flaw – Joe Colorado – Colorado
The cord is only 18 inches long. For me that is about an inch too short. The manual says it is a short cord to avoid “tripping” over cords. Give me a break please. It says you can use an appliance extension cord. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to use an extenison cord when you could have easily given me a cord that is at least 24 inches long.

Do Not Buy: Unsafe!! – C. Brinkerhoff – Chicago IL
We bought this toaster about 2.5 years ago. We loved it until this morning. Luckily none of us were in the kitchen when it happened… after being on for about 2 minutes the glass door EXPLODED! I couldn’t believe it. There was glass everywhere and it looked like a bomb went off inside of it. I will NEVER buy this brand again. My 1 year old plays in the kitchen all the time and she was in there about 5 minutes before it happened. It’s one thing to stop working after a while but to explode… that’s just unrealistic. Contacting the company tomorrow.

Don’t Waste Your Money – Kelly Johnson –
Looks sleek and modern but this turned out to be a total piece of trash. It lasted less than a year before burning out. Yes, it’s still under warranty, but it costs .00 to mail it in and another which you must pay them to mail it back to you. At that rate, I’ll just buy another, more reliable oven. BTW, I have an older, cheaper (and admittedly, uglier) Sharp oven that still works. I think I’ll return to that brand.

I just had to add my review as well that this product while fine while it lasted didn’t last for long. I know it’s been less than a year and now it’s in the trash. Like the others, the toaster had a day or two of burning really hot followed by heating element failure. How disappointing!

$$$ lost burning food in this wreck – M. Bunnell – Dover, DE USA
I bought this 2 weeks ago and have yet to heat anything in it that I’m satisfied with. I’ve wasted so much money burning things even when I lowered the advised temperature by 25-degrees. I tried heating things on the lower rack and then next time on the upper rack; nothing ever was right. Yes, the timer would go off, the “stay on” feature worked, and it made okay toast but even indestructable Pizza Rolls came out scorched on the bottom and dried out on the top when baked at a lower-than-recommended temp and for less time.

The design isn’t even right. The instructions say that you MUST clean the interior crumb tray after every use. I did. But the door handle is too deep to allow access to the tray unless you tip the unit backwards to make the door lie flat. I’ve gotten burned several times from doing this, by the way.

I’m here at Amazon looking for a replacement, which truly hurts, having paid full price for this at Target. Don’t think I have an axe to grind with this company; I’d never even heard of Euro-Pro until I saw this one on the shelf. My advice: stay away!
